General Training Tips: (Special Thanks to BC Carnage)
UPDATED TRAINING TIPS:
The training exercises should yield you about 60 points a day (Aptitude Exam ~3-5 pts, Iris Defense ~8 pts, Glider Attack ~5 pts, Glyph Matching ~5 pts, and the Dialer Simulator ~21-33 pts) On the training exercises try pressing the "print scrn" button on your keyboard repeatedly during the games (only on Iris, Gliders, Dialer Sim) this will slow down the games, thus making them easier, and it will help you get used to them. Use the "print scrn" button on the Dialer Sim ONLY WHEN THE GLYPH CLUES ARE PRESENT!!. This will make the clues remain visible for a long time. Also, if your "prnt scrn" button won't function that way then comm BC~CARNAGE for instructions on doing a screen capture. If you have Flash 5 on your computer the "prnt scrn" button will not be effective in the Iris and Gliders games. In this case you will have to do it the old-fashioned way and practice. I suggest just practicing on the Iris and NOT the Gliders because the Iris game will not cost you any points if you fail. The Gliders will cost you 3 points if you fail and is only worth 5 points to begin with. The "Auto Destruct." The code is not "hidden" on a certain page, it is found by visiting a random number of pages visited. The code can be found just by continually refreshing one page (I use team barracks- loads very quickly). Select a 3 piont bet and then just position your mouse over the "Team Barracks" link and click to refresh the page the page utill you find the code. !!!DO NOT USE THE 'REFRESH' BUTTON ON YOUR BROWSER!!!! "Mission Votes" every day you are given one mission vote. Dont let them build up, use them (1 vote = 1 point). To use them go to the blinking "mission assigned/mission completed" link and find the "rate mission" button. Click it once to use one vote. If you have more than 1 mission vote, then click the "rate mission" that many times. "Klorel" to get two points you have to click on his eyes the MOMENT he comes up .click fast too If you miss him (or any others like Nurti, Urgo, and Thor) click the "BACK" button on your browser and then click the "FORWARD" and you will see them pop up again. The other extras are self explanitory in the "ops manual". The "Readiness Exam." IF YOU HAVE LESS THAN 1000 points: select "NO TIMER". Then open up an additional browser window and go to www.site-street.com/ members/helenab9/aptitude.html and find the answer. IF YOU HAVE OVER 1000 points: BEFORE you select "TIMED (1%)", go ahead and go to the site because once you select "TIMED (1%)" you'll only have about 20-30 sec to find the answer!! You can also use the "BACK" button on your browser and then the "FOWARD" button to get another question. I encourage you to print the questions and answers out and study them. |
